G-Ninnie Wednesday

I love you Papa Jay!

It is G-Ninnie Wednesday, my favorite day of the week. When I arrived Alexis was having a manicure/pedicure. She is such a spoiled little one, you know. Then Vanessa left for work and Alexis took her first nap of the day. Papa Jay popped out to get hugs from the little one this morning. She was oh so glad to see him. After playing with Papa Jay and bouncing around in her johnny jump up, it was time for another nap.

Bryan came home for lunch as usual so Alexis sat in her high chair and had bananas and mangoes while he ate his sandwich and salad. After lunch and a short walk outside, it was time for yet another nap. Isn't that the life?

It was somewhere in the 90's today, so this afternoon we just stayed in the house and tried to keep cool. Alexis is the best snuggler, so we managed to do plenty of that along with playing with some cool toys and I read some of her books to her. She actually seems like she understands me. She is so darn smart!

Vanessa came home at her usual time and this g-ma headed off into the sunset to go home and fix dinner for Papa Jay and cool off. Creamsicles for dessert, what a way to end the perfect day with my granddaughter.
