Day at the Park on G-Ninnie Wednesday

Today was, of course, G-Ninnie Wednesday.  The junior Ducks cheerleader was all dressed and ready to go when I arrived bright and early.  She had already been practicing her moves.  We had a very fun day.  We went to the park in the afternoon cuz it was raining in the morning. 

And then she had one more move I wasn't quite prepared for.  Hope her daddy doesn't see this one!  Playground or pole dancer?

Funny!  Seriously, we had a great day enjoying the nice fall weather.  Can't wait to see what she has in store for me next week!  I am so lucky to be a gramma.

ANDI AND CLARK ARE MARRIED!

After many months of Andi and Clark's planning and preparation, the day was finally here.  On Sunday, 09-19-2010, my baby girl, who I remember with pigtails and curly hair, falling off her bike, studying long hours for term papers, hitting home runs in softball, spikes in volleyball, talking scholarly in speech meets, sitting in her daddy's lap, taking me on vacation to mexico for my 50th birthday, got married. 

It was a beautiful day and eventful weekend.  Everything (almost) went according to plan.  I am so proud to have a daughter who is loving, thoughtful, creative, smart and so full of life.  I am proud she found someone who is equally as loving and thoughtful and we are glad to welcome Clark into the family.

We had such a fun weekend getting to know our new circle of friends and family and connecting with our own family and friends we have not seen in a while. 

09-22-2010 G-NINNIE WEDNESDAY

I missed the past two Wednesdays to post updates, where does the time go?  Anyways, yesterday spent the day with Alexis and Jay joined me.  So I had to play nice in the sandbox and share.  We had a great day with her.  She is so happy all the time, goes down to nap without a fuss, just an all around great little person.  She is sitting up and really concentrates on learning how to play with all of her toys.  What a joy and honor it is to be able to go there week after week and share the amazement of her rapid growth.

G-NINNIE WEDNESDAY

I cannot believe another week has gone by.  Alexis continues to amaze me with her growth.  She is getting lots of hair.  Hmmm maybe this junior flower girl will need to go to the beauty parlor before the Andi's wedding.  She is outgrowing her latest size of clothing.  Bryan tells me she even fits into 2T?  Come on!  She is 7 months old now and I am positive she is in the highest percentile in every category.  We had a fun day of playing and eating.  She got carrots all over and up her nose!  She has a routine schedule and is cranky if she doesn't get her naps.  What an honor and a joy to be allowed to spend every Wednesday with this little angel from God.

FALL IS IN THE AIR

September definitely arrived with a nip in the air.  I have felt it for the past few days.  Tonight sitting by the fire outside I most certainly could feel that fall is here.  I am praying for a nice fall season, especially on September 19, 2010, which is the day Andrea Michelle Tull will marry her true love.

The children will be starting school if they haven't already, school buses will fill the streets in the early morning and late afternoon.  Summer vacations are coming to a close.  I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by.
