WALKING IS GOOD FOR YOU

They say walking is the best exercise you can do for yourself. I have been trying to stay with a walking regimen, but somehow don't follow through as I should. Living next to Glendoveer Golf Course you would think it would be easy to just go over there and walk every day. Unfortunately, exercise is not my favorite thing to do--right up there with housework. But I plug along and hope it soon becomes a habit with me. I have started walking with a good friend on Tuesdays. We meet down by OMSI and make the loop on the east bank esplanade, over the steel bridge, along waterfront park and back across the good ole Willamette River. Must have been at least 4 miles, not sure, but my muscles say so. Can hardly wait until next week. Anyways, good time and good company.

  1. Keep walking...you don't want to get fat, out of shape, and die before I have grandkids, do you? Okay then, it is settled.
