BOAT RIDE ON THE WILLAMETTE RIVER


Jay was in his element today as we put the boat in the water for the first time. Everything seems to work just fine, the boat didn't fill up and water, but I was wearing my life vest just in case! Next I expect him to catch me some big fish and bring home lots of dungeness crab!

    Dad should be wearing a life vest too...it is the law and the safe and right thing to do. Though I am not surprised since he doesn't like to wear his seat belt in the car either. SIGH.

    Life vests are required to be on the boat within reach, but not required to be worn, even though I think it is a safe thing to do. He has been better about the seat belt in the car since he got ticketed a while ago. LOL!
